New at JM Concept: the XALIS 1000SIL

JM-Concept launches its brand new product, the XALIS 1000SIL, which is part of its range of XALIS 1000 indicators specifically designed for Gauge Bridge or Wheatstone inputs in the Industrial Lifting market. This latest addition to the range is distinguished by its SIL2-certified safety mode, in response to growing demand from its customers.

The XALIS 1000SIL is the only device on the market that offers the following characteristics: SIL 2 certification for 4 to 6 wire gauge bridge inputs, two analog outputs, one of which is SIL 2 certified, 1 to 4 SIL 2 certified relay outputs also, and communication via the Modbus RTU fieldbus. This combination of features makes it an ideal choice for industrial lifting applications requiring a high level of reliability and safety for monitoring and control systems.

With regard to its safety functions in accordance with standard IEC 61508-2, the XALIS 1000SIL is capable of generating a voltage or current output signal representative of a gauge bridge input quantity. It can also switch the relay outputs to a fallback position when crossing a threshold defined by the operator. In addition, in the event of a detected fault, fallback modes or safe states are defined on the analog and relay outputs, thus guaranteeing increased safety in lifting operations.

The XALIS 1000SIL also offers the same advantages specific to JM Concept devices, in particular their universality, their insulation, their withdrawability and their communication.
