Laboratory test team leader

Following an internal mobility, we are looking for our new Laboratory Testing Team Leader.
Within the Laboratories Department, you are responsible for managing a team of a dozen technicians involved in equipment testing activities aeraulic and thermal (boiler, stove, air handling unit, fan, filter, VMC, etc.). This center carries out tests according to standards, European or international certification programs in the field, and within the framework of R&D studies or collective studies for equipment manufacturers.
You are placed under the responsibility of the Director of Laboratories to carry out the following main missions:
Production management :
- Analyze the customer request in connection with the sales department and indicate a deadline for carrying out the services
- Plan the performance of the tests and provide the necessary material and human resources
- Assist the technicians to find solutions in the event of a problem during the tests
- Participate in the updating and evolution of quality documents
- Update production indicators and dashboards
Team management :
- Participate in the recruitment of the pole and support the evolutions / changes
- Propose changes to accreditation, carry out annual and professional interviews and identify training needs
- Facilitate team meetings and meetings with other departments
- Ensure a field presence with the team
- Ensure the link between management and the team (communication, feedback, interaction with other laboratory managers)
Management of test facilities:
- Participate or manage investment projects, propose evolutions of platforms and test means
- Validate the test equipment maintenance schedule, coordinate its implementation and verify its proper execution
- Propose the annual operating budget of the laboratory, and monitor the purchases and expenses made.
The profile sought:
- Training and qualifications
- Bac+2 to BAC+5 (training such as physical measurements, thermal engineering, mechanics, production)
- Experience
- Experienced or beginner profile,
- First experience in team management or transversal management appreciated.
- Know how
- Generalist and multidisciplinary skills in measurement, mechanics (including fluid mechanics), boilermaking, electricity,
- Skills in Lean management, 5S would be a plus.
