ASGARD strengthens its service activities in the field of measurement in the medical sector

The ASGARD group continues its development by strengthening its service activity in "Maintenance and Metrology" through the acquisition by its subsidiary SOFIMAE of the ECME verification business line (measurement and test inspection equipment) of THAT'S IT.

SECA, world leader in the medical scales market, has developed alongside its medical scale verification activity, a maintenance and metrology activity for measuring equipment for its customers. Today, THAT'S IT wishes to focus its efforts on its core business in order to maintain the excellence of its services, and has therefore decided to sell this branch of activity to SOFIMAE.

The integration of this branch into SOFIMAE, the pooling of measurement areas, material resources and skills will enable the whole to improve its response to customer expectations. It will also authorize the development of the range of services and the commercial presence of SOFIMAE in the medical sector already strengthened in mid-2022 by the integration of MEDIXLAB.

The ASGARD Group with AOIP, DIMELCO and SOFIMAE, intervenes in many fields of activity such as energy, automotive, nuclear, defence, transport, telecoms, industry, laboratories and education.

SOFIMAE is a service provider, offering a full range of verification, calibration, maintenance and fleet management services for measuring instruments carried out on site or in its laboratories. SOFIMAE has ten COFRAC accreditations (Temperature, Pressure, Time – Frequency, Electricity – Magnetism, Ionizing Radiation, Radiometry – Photometry and Dimensional) and operates from its laboratories based in the Paris region, in the Lille region and in Nevers.

AOIP is a recognized player in Measurement, whose equipment and solutions are used by more than 40,000 customers in around sixty countries covering all sectors of industry and laboratories. It designs, develops and sells instrumentation equipment (Calibration, Ohmmeters and Data Acquisition Systems), navigation systems and motor starters. The society AOIP was strengthened in 2022 by the integration of Nimtech, which enabled it to complete its range of pyrotechnic measurement equipment. DIMELCO, merged with SANOR since its acquisition in 2019 and strengthened by the acquisition of AJ Service in 2022, is a specialized distributor present throughout France, offering multi-brand test and measurement equipment for industrial use and instrumentation solutions and process.
