ASGARD strengthens its offer instrumentation for process monitoring and traceability

The ASGARD group pursues its growth strategy by concluding on February 10, 2023, the acquisition of the assets of the company NEWSTEO through AOIP, its subsidiary at 100 %.

Newsteo, based in La Ciotat, has been offering since 2005 a complete solution of wireless sensors and measurement management for traceability, alert and supervision purposes. IoT, smart sensors, radio transmission, low speed communication, low consumption, long range are the technologies mastered by Newsteo to offer its customers monitoring systems for parameters such as temperature, pressure, humidity, shocks, etc. in restrictive environments: monitoring of environmental conditions of manufacturing, storage or transport in the cold chain, for foodstuffs, pharmaceutical products, etc. Newsteo gateways allow measurements to be uploaded to a local PC or to the Cloud, the Webmonitor application allowing management in the Cloud or on mobile or PC.

AOIP also provides worldwide data acquisition systems essentially based on measurement units and wired sensors, supervised by its software VISULOG. The integration of NEWSTEO will allow AOIP to strengthen the richness of its solutions and expand its ability to meet the needs of its customers.

The metrology laboratory Newsteo also offers accredited calibration services COFRAC in temperature. The laboratory is integrated, alongside the other Laboratories COFRAC, by SOFIMAE.

The society AOIP was strengthened in 2022 by the integration of Nimtech, which enabled it to complete its range of pyrotechnic measurement equipment. DIMELCO, merged with SANOR in 2019 and strengthened by the acquisition of AJ Service in 2022, is a specialized distributor present throughout France, offering multi-brand test and measurement equipment for industrial use and instrumentation and process solutions . SOFIMAE, merged with SEMELEC in 2018, with DPG in 2020 and with Thuel in 2022 and strengthened by the acquisition of the Medixlab activities and the ECME laboratory of SECA in 2022, is a metrology company offering a range of services, verification, calibration, maintenance and fleet management carried out on site or in its laboratories. SOFIMAE has eleven COFRAC accreditations (Temperature, Pressure, Acceleration, Time – Frequency, Electricity – Magnetism, Ionizing Radiation, Radiometry – Photometry and Dimensional) and operates from its laboratories based in the Paris region, in the Lille region and in Nevers.
