The CSTB aims to imagine the buildings and the city of tomorrow by supporting and securing sustainable construction and renovation projects, to improve the quality of life of their users, by anticipating the effects of climate change. To this end, it brings together multidisciplinary skills and carries out 5 key activities: research and expertise, evaluation, certification, testing and dissemination of knowledge. Its field of expertise covers construction products, buildings and their integration into the neighborhood and the city.
- The AQUASIM building and its experimental plots area, dedicated to sustainable water management, and in particular to the subjects of the use of non-conventional water, heat recovery, non-collective sanitation, rainwater management and vegetation.

- The Jules Verne wind tunnel dedicated to the study of wind behavior in extreme climatic conditions of large structures, transport and industrial equipment.

The Nantes CSTB brings together around a hundred experts specializing in climatology, aerodynamics and water management at the service of professionals (industry, communities), construction, automobile and rail transport, industrial equipment, in France and around the world.

10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Welcome coffee in Nantes (security equipment)
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Tour de table of participants, presentation of the CSTB, of its new Water Department (organization, activities) and its four Strategic Action Areas
12:00 p.m. – 12:10 p.m.: News from the EMS Cluster and the Measurement Network
12:10 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lunch (on site)
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Visit of the AQUASIM Large Equipment (experimental halls, sanitation platform, Networks and Sanitation laboratory, experimental basin, Pulse laboratory) and the Jules Verne climatic wind tunnel (subject to schedule of confidential studies).
4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Exchanges and identification of avenues of collaboration
