The range of TS series torque sensors is growing! With the introduction of models TS 109 to TS 111 covering measuring ranges from 20 N m to 100 N m Magtrol extends its range of TS series torque meters. 11 nominal ranges are now available, covering measurement ranges from 50 mN m to 100 N m. The TS 112 and TS 113 models will also be launched by the end of the year; this will extend the range up to the nominal of 500 N · m.

The new TS torque meter offers dual signal output, analog and USB, which can be used simultaneously, for example one channel for data acquisition and the other for closed loop control of a tree line.

The sensor incorporates an encoder (360 or 400 pulses per revolution) allowing an angular resolution of up to 0.25 ° and a reference index (1 pulses per revolution). 1,000 or 5,000 pulse encoders (available on request) further improve angular resolution if needed. The transmission of energy from the stator to the rotor is ensured by a high frequency rotary transformer offering low inertia. A system made up of three colored LEDs constantly informs the user about the operating status of the device. TORQUE measurement acquisition software is available free of charge and can be downloaded directly from the Magtrol website. The set thus offers an easy-to-use "Plug & Play" system.

The TS torque transducer provides measurement up to 200% of its nominal value.

With 300% of the nominal torque at the overload limit, it is one of the sensors offering the highest overload reserve on the market. The first family (8 nominal ranges covering from 50 mN m to 10 N m) introduced in 2019 quickly conquered its market. Its excellent price / performance ratio is appreciated by customers.

This new range strengthens the offer of Magtrol in the field of torque measurement, providing an excellent complement to the TM series (up to 400% overload limit and high speed versions up to 50,000 min^-1), the TF series (flanged torque transducer) and the RT series (feedback torque transducers). In addition to its torque transducer business, the company is well known for its engine test systems, brakes and clutches, torque pins and load cells, and displacement sensors.
