At TEXYS, we design, develop, manufacture and market our wide range of TEXENSE® sensors for on-board measurement and monitoring (pressures, loads, temperatures, speeds, inertias) and are recognized worldwide as experts in different technologies (infrared, optical fiber , strain gauge, wireless communication, signal conditioning).
The TEXYS group recently extended its tailor-made development capabilities with the fiber optic technology activity, thanks to the acquisition of Optel-Thevon (now OPTEL-TEXYS) and Light Guide Solutions (now LGS by TEXYS) .
Our products and services are widely used in various industries (motorsports, aeronautics, aerospace, automotive, marine, shipbuilding and railroads), and the TEXYS Group is developing its international commercial activities, around its TEXENSE, LGS by TEXYS brands. and OPTEL-TEXYS and technical services.
As part of this expansion, TEXYS is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer M / F.
Position and missions:
Reporting to the Group's Sales Department, and in daily contact with the General Management,
you are in charge of the existing customer portfolio on the industrial and motorsport markets.
More precisely, you are in charge of:
- Develop prospecting and commercial relations in various technical fields,
- Organize and boost the distribution network at the international level, mainly in territories not yet covered by our organization,
- Identify market trends thanks to your customer trips (frequency to be defined),
- Ensure competitive intelligence and participate in the definition of new products,
- Propose commercial actions to be implemented (trade fairs, visits and prospecting),
- Liaise with the Technical Department for the follow-up of the cases for which you are responsible (respect of deadlines and specifications),
You:
You are attracted by the dynamic context of an agile and innovative SME, and appreciate teamwork.
You come from a technical background with a strong commercial fiber, and you justify a successful experience of at least 6 years in 'B to B' business development.
Your background has led you to lead presentation meetings with technical contacts, and you have a marked interest in technology and innovation.
You are fluent in oral and written English. A solid foundation of a second foreign language would be an advantage.
The remuneration is negotiable according to your profile and your level of experience.
