The post
We are looking for a metrology engineer for our Hottinger Brüel & Kjaer calibration laboratory based in Sucy-en-Brie.
You will be part of the calibration laboratory team within the “Services & Solutions” department, in close collaboration with the other departments of the company.
Main responsibilities
Under the direction of the Head of Calibration & Repair EMEA and in collaboration with the other members of the team, you will be a major player in the development of our calibration laboratory.
Your main tasks include:
- Development of technical procedures
- Ensure the carrying out of verifications or calibrations of our brand products
- Uncertainty calculations
- Participate in the improvement of laboratory performance
- Participate in the maintenance and development of work tools
- Participation in new Cofrac accreditation projects
- Maintenance and development of the quality system of our Cofrac accreditation (ISO 17025).
Qualifications
Higher education ideally in the field of metrology, instrumentation or physical measurements, you justify professional experience in a practical technical function,
ideally in the field of metrology.
Personal skills
- Good general technical knowledge
- Good customer relationship both verbal and written
- You have a good level of written and spoken English
- Team spirit
- Curiosity, open-mindedness and attraction to new challenges
- Customer service oriented
- You enjoy working on a wide variety of tasks independently
- B permit
- Programming knowledge (VBA, .Net, C#) would be a plus
