We are currently looking for a Metrologist Technician in order to strengthen the activity of our agency based in Taverny (95), in the Paris region.
Detailed tasks:
Reporting to the Laboratory Director, the person will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Analyze complex customer files and intervene with our customers in France or abroad for the measurement of advice or training
- Carry out plan reviews (alone or with the client)
- Measure the parts of our customers using the means made available to them
- Provide technical services, fine-tuning, analysis and testing by optimizing cost, time and quality parameters
- Planning management and customer quotes
In-depth training on our activities and tools is planned for this position.
Qualifications required:
- Higher education (bac +3 to +5), you have good knowledge of materials science
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar function, ideally in the field of X-ray tomography within an industry service activity
- You have skills in Non-destructive Testing by Tomography & Micro-tomography as well as their applications on practical cases
- Ideally, you have knowledge of VG STUDIO software
- You have good skills in plan reading, ISO-GPS rating, and X-ray machine acquisition
- You like customer contact
- Working English is a plus
