Tasks

In a context of constant growth and development of its activities, the company VAISALA France SAS is currently recruiting a Field Technician M/F.

Reporting to the EMEA Field Service Manager (VIM), the Field Technician (M/F) is responsible for providing on-site and remote services to customers of the VIEWLINC® continuous monitoring system product line.

Your main missions will be:

• Perform on-site single-point and multi-point calibrations as well as on-site and remote validation and mapping installation.
• Perform troubleshooting, configuration, and documentation of provided services.
• Manage workload, expenses and departmental reports.
• Help develop internal process improvements and documentation.
• Plan and schedule work with clients and provide training.

Profile

With a Bac+2 training in Metrology, IT, Networks and/or Electronics, you ideally have at least 2 years of experience acquired in an industry.

Technical knowledge and skills:

• Prior professional experience with wired and wireless TCP/IP networks.
• A basic understanding of benchmarking and calibration is appreciated
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power-Point, Outlook)
• Professional English (training in English possible to progress) and fluent French (read, write, speak)
• B permit
