Description and Conditions:

 

The Support & Metrologist Engineer (SME) will be responsible for technical support to French-speaking Beamex customers, establishing service offers, and supporting the sales team in pre-sales. He will be a full member of the global Calibration Solution Group (CSG) team and will be responsible for ensuring the monitoring of the global Beamex strategy.

The SME will be a reference for the use of the Beamex solution and in metrology.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

• Support for French-speaking customers (hardware and software)
• Incident Resolution Responsibilities (Tickets)
• On-site customer training
• Pre-sales support for salespeople
• Deliver the services sold (database conversion, installation)
• Be a standard (reference in metrology)
• Promote products and services in French-speaking markets
• Keep materials up to date
• Do webinars and videos
• Participate in trade shows
• Work within the global team and occasionally have to travel internationally

 

Experience Required:

 

• 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Mastery of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Writing documentation and technical supports
• Knowledge of metrology or ability to learn
• Experience with a CRM (Dynamics would be a plus)
