General presentation

Our client is a company specializing in metrology and regulatory controls. It provides metrological verification, maintenance and management of a fleet of measuring, control and testing devices in its laboratories or on customer sites. It also offers regulatory controls in the environmental, personal safety and risk prevention fields. The company is ISO 9001, 14001, MASE certified and is approved by the Ministry of the Environment and Ecology and all of its laboratories are COFRAC accredited.

 

Its national network of 12 centers and its mobile team of experts allow it to ensure total coverage of the national territory and thus guarantees rapid intervention as close as possible to its customers' needs.

The company continues to develop and actively research a metrology agency manager (F / M) for its two laboratories in the Auvergne / Rhône Alpes region (dpt. 38-74).

Job overview

Attached to the Regional Manager, you will mainly be in charge of:

  • The organization of the agency's work (administrative and technical), on customer sites and / or in the laboratory in accordance with procedures and customer requirements;
  • The profitability of the various operations (the agency for which you will be responsible is a profit center);
  • The establishment of quotes and price offers within the limits of authorizations;
  • Management of agency staff;
  • Compliance with quality procedures (ISO 9001: 14001; CEI ISO 17025 and 17020) and maintenance of COFRAC accreditations within your agency.

 

As a real man / woman in the field, you play a key role in the recognition of the company and the development of your laboratory's activities:

 

Manage the agency

  • Ensure the management of the agency by setting out the company's objectives (quantitative and qualitative);
  • Ensure the achievement of objectives;
  • Coordinate the agency's actions with the whole of society;
  • Implement the Quality Safety Environment (QSE) approach in line with that of the company and ensure the achievement of quality improvement objectives;
  • Ensure upward and downward communication and reporting with General Management and within the agency with each employee.

Manage the team

  • Ensure the managerial responsibility of the centre's employees (collective and individual objectives and evaluation of results);
  • Organize the agency (formalize management documents, define delegations of responsibility, etc.);
  • Define the skills necessary to achieve the objectives and guarantee the development of the agency's human resources (training, professional development, recruitment, etc.);
  • Manage and propose the development of its employees (training, promotions, qualification, remuneration);
  • Motivate employees.

Ensure technical development

  • Lead the technical development of the agency and its offer by relying on its expertise;
  • Guarantee the implementation of the R&D policy in agreement with the General Management according to the evolution of market needs;
  • Ensure the capitalization of skills acquired at project level;
  • Carry out competitive intelligence.

Ensure business development

  • Guarantee the implementation of the commercial policy ensuring the development of the agency in agreement with the General Management;
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the Commercial Action Plan;
  • Represent the company commercially as well as in professional bodies;
  • Participate in the identification of customer needs to ensure the commercial development of the center;
  • Support customers and advise them if necessary;
  • Participate in supply and order reviews on strategic projects;
  • Guarantee business completion and customer satisfaction;
  • Supervise the management of the activity planning.

Profile sought

Higher education (License, Masters, Engineer…), you justify a concrete experience of 5 to 10 years in a similar function of management of teams in the field of the provision of service.

 

On a technical level, you have good knowledge in the following areas :

  • Obligations related to the standard NF EN ISO / CEI 17025;
  • The general concepts and tools of metrology in the fields: electricity, temperature, pressure, force / torque and dimension;
  • Interpretation of ECME procedures and technical instructions;
  • ECME calibration and verification.

 

On a human level you are proactive, you have a real interest in selling services:

  • You have a very good customer relationship, the sense of negotiation and your ability to develop existing customers will be the keys to your success;
  • Spirit of initiative, rigor and adaptability will be particularly appreciated assets for this position;

  • Aptitude for dialogue and a strong capacity for analysis and synthesis are also prerequisites for the success of this mission.

You have a proven practice of office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as good written and oral expression.

  • Education / Level: Bac + 2 / + 5 Physical measurements, Metrology, Electronics, Electrical engineering, Instrumentation, Maintenance, Tests, Mechanical engineering;
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years in a similar function of team management in the field of service provision;
  • Skills: Metrology under COFRAC accreditation, electricity, temperature, pressure, force / torque and dimensional domain; Resource management, Operational management, Business management, Commercial, Lobbying, QSE;
  • B permit : Travel in the Auvergne / Rhône Alpes region;
  • Type of Contract :CDI;
  • Status:Private sector executive;
  • Remuneration: +/- k € depending on skill level and experience + Incentive + company car.
