MÉTRO-logiX is continuing its development by strengthening its technical intervention team on customer sites and is actively seeking a Metrology Laboratory Operations Manager (F / M) for its laboratory located in the Val d'Oise Department.

Job overview

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will mainly be responsible for:
-The organization of the work of the COFRAC laboratory (pressure and mass fields) on customer sites and / or in
laboratory in compliance with procedures and requirements;
-The profitability of the various operations;
-The establishment of quotes and price offers;
-Management of laboratory staff;
-The respect of quality procedures (ISO 9001; CEI ISO 17025) and the maintenance of COFRAC accreditations.

As a real man / woman in the field, you play a key role in the recognition of the company and the development of your laboratory's activities:

Manage the laboratory / Manage the team
-Ensure piloting by ensuring the achievement of objectives (quantitative and qualitative);
-Ensure the management of employees (collective and individual objectives);
-Supervise the management of the activity planning;
-Ensure the coordination of actions within the team;
-Implement the Quality Safety Environment (QSE) approach in line with that of the company;
-Ensure the achievement of quality improvement objectives;
-Ensure communication and ascending and descending reporting: General Management / team;
-Organize the laboratory (formalization of documents, delegations of responsibility, etc.);
-Define the skills necessary to achieve the objectives;
- Actively participate in the recruitment of new employees;
-Ensure the development of human resources (training, professional development, recruitment, etc.);
-Manage employee development (training, promotions, qualification, remuneration);
-Motivate employees.

Ensure technical and commercial development
-Ensure the implementation of the R&D policy in agreement with the General Management according to the evolution
market needs;
-Ensure the technical development of laboratory expertise;
-Ensure the capitalization of acquired skills;
- Guarantee the implementation of the commercial policy ensuring the development of the activity;
-Participate in the development and implementation of the Commercial Action Plan;
-Represent the company commercially as well as in professional bodies;
-Participate in the identification of customer needs to ensure the commercial development of the laboratory;
-Advise customers if necessary;
-Participate in supply and order reviews on strategic projects;
-Guarantee the completion of business and customer satisfaction;
- Guarantee the management of disputes;
- Carry out competitive intelligence.

You will be subject to a confidentiality agreement on information relating to calibrations and materials subject to calibration to which you will have access. Personalized support will be provided to provide you with the technical, commercial and administrative information necessary for the proper execution of your assignments.
Profile sought
Higher education (License, Masters, Engineer…), you justify a concrete experience of 5 to 10 years in a similar function of management of teams in the field of the provision of service.
On the technical level, you have good knowledge in the following fields: - The obligations related to standard NF EN ISO / CEI 17025; - The general concepts and tools of metrology in the fields of pressure and masses; - Interpretation of procedures and technical instructions of ECME; - ECME calibration and verification.
On a human level, your charisma means that you are naturally credible in the face of different types of interlocutors. Proactive, you have: - A real interest in selling services; - A very good customer relationship, the sense of negotiation and the ability to develop existing customers; - A spirit of initiative, rigor and good adaptability; - The taste for teamwork and the sense of communication; - An aptitude for dialogue and a strong capacity for analysis and synthesis. You have a proven practice of office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as good written and oral expression. You have a perfect command of English. Knowledge of German is a real plus.
