Metrology manager
RATP

Within the RATP Tests and Measurements Laboratory, the Metrology Manager is responsible for
metrological conformity of the measuring devices, he is a member of the Quality-Metrology team.
01. Post and Missions
As metrology manager your main activities are:
 Be responsible for the metrological validity of equipment (accelerometry, acoustics,
anemometry, flowmetry, dimensional, electricity, force, gas, magnetism, mass, pressure,
temperature / hygrometry, ...):
• By establishing and managing the planning of metrological operations
• By organizing metrological subcontracting with suppliers
• By analyzing the results of metrological operations
• By optimizing the frequency of metrological operations
• By approving Metrological Instructions
• By participating in the development of instrument calibration programs
 Promote metrology in the unit
 Ensure the administration of the software used for the management of the fleet of instruments and the updating of
the associated database within the framework of metrological monitoring

 Manage deviation sheets and follow up on associated actions
 Ensure budget monitoring of investments and subcontracting of operations

 Technically participate in the renewal of RATP's metrological markets
 Actively participate in certification and accreditation audits.
02. Profile sought
You hold a Bac + 2/3 diploma (DUT, BTS, license) in the field of metrology and have
from a first experience.
Rigorous and organized, you are recognized for your analytical and synthesis skills.
When you meet various interlocutors, you are endowed with good interpersonal skills.
Very good command of office tools required (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

The objective of the Tests and Measurements Laboratory (LEM) is to provide a response to the needs of measurements and
analyzes of company departments or RATP group subsidiaries. These measures can
intervene at any time during the life cycle of the various RATP materials or equipment: control,
homologation, qualification, investigations, research and development. The LEM is also in charge
monitoring network management (air quality for example, etc.). The Laboratory is certified and
accredited, it has 3000 control, measurement and test equipment.
