SENSOR + TEST is the world's leading forum for sensors, measurement and test technologies.
Thanks to its partnership with WADA, the Measurement Network offers its members a shared space at preferential rates.
After three glory days at the trade fair, the SENSOR + TEST measurement technology fair closed in Nuremberg. Despite the heat outside, around 7,000 domestic and foreign trade visitors gathered in the pleasantly warm exhibition halls. At 538, the number of exhibitors was lower than the previous year. The proportion of foreign exhibitors did not vary around 40%. The SENSOR + TEST has once again confirmed its position as the leading international event for sensor technology, measurement and test technology.
Visitors took full advantage of the opportunity to discover the many interesting innovations offered by the exhibition stands on an exhibition area of approximately 18,000 square meters. Enthusiastic discussions took place there and in the popular exhibitor conference forums, in particular the special theme of this year's fair - sensor technology and measurement technology for process automation. Holger Bödeker, managing director of the organization AMA Service GmbH, said: "The two exhibitor forums in the exhibition halls, which are freely accessible to visitors, are increasingly real crowd fans."
Christoph Kleye (Pewatron), Chairman of the Exhibitor Advisory Board, also confirms the enormous satisfaction of the exhibitors: “We had many fruitful and very concrete discussions. In particular, Hall 5 was much more crowded this year which calls for a better mix of visitor flows. Expressly congratulate the various communication channels offered to exhibitors by the show. We have used it extensively and have greatly benefited from it. "
The 20th GMA / ITG Symposium, Sensors and Measurement Systems, 2019 was also very well received, despite the dates overlapping with other international conferences, as confirmed by the scientific congress leadership. The opening and free admission of the congress session on the theme "Citizen science with sensors - Sensors for citizen science" were also well accepted.
The 2022 edition will be held from May 10 to 12, 2022.
